We received a wonderful gift from one of our incredibly kind clients today. An original floor block from the old Ysgol John Bright. It will look great on display at our funeral home.

Thank you so much Mrs Atkinson for your support.

It was great to be featured in our National Association’s Journal this month. I hope that other Funeral Directors across the country get in touch with therapy dogs.

If you want to learn more about their work visit 🐕

Chris and I have put together a little historic display at our funeral home in memory of my Great Great Grandfather. Those of you who have been following us for a while will no doubt remember my lovely Great Aunt Florence playing our grand piano and recounting her memories of him.

Thomas William Godwin was proprietor of “T.W. Godwin, Builder and Undertaker” in Nantyglo, Monmouthshire. I’m incredibly lucky to have his top hat, one of his smoothing planes and a copy of an account he sent to a Mr Webber in 1940. It pleases me to think that his legacy continues at Lord-Brown & Harty.

Huge thanks to my Mum Ann and her cousin Gary Godwin for giving us this fantastic memorabilia.
