We have received some samples from the Lasting Memories Collection of Cremation Urns from the always brilliant Hallidays. They are really beautiful and the selection of different urns, keepsakes, memory pebbles and scatter tubes is impressive.

We particularly love the Fuego Eco Urn (£135), which is water soluable and biodegradable, and the selection of natural woven scatter tubes (from £70).

I had the absolute privilege of being invited to talk to some of the Celebrants North Wales & Cheshire group members this morning. It is always important for us to listen to, and discuss the funeral profession with those who work with us to make your goodbyes so unique.

Groups like this really help those newly qualified celebrants find their way in this daunting and sometimes overwhelming world.

It was wonderful to meet the lovely Jenni Owen today. Jenni is a talented local seamstress, and dressmaker who also makes wonderful teddy bears fashioned from the clothes of lost loved ones. It’s a beautiful idea and can bring immense comfort.

An enormous amount of work goes into making these bears, and Jenni embroiders names and life dates onto each teddy. Ours has pride of place in our display cabinet next to our Hunter Bear.

Jenni only charges £45 for a unique bear, which we think is incredibly reasonable for a hand made bespoke teddy.

As supplies were getting low our lovely friend Lyn arrived on the doorstep with cake and biscuits, just in time ❤️
