Yes, the deceased can be brought home either the evening before or the morning of the service, so they can depart from home.

Yes, you can request specific music to be played at the Crematorium Chapel. Please inform the Funeral Director as soon as possible. Note that only original recordings are allowed due to copyright laws.

Yes, if you prefer donations to charity instead of flowers, we can collect and list donations on your behalf and forward them to your chosen charity.

No, the coffin does not move until all relatives and friends have left the Crematorium Chapel. Curtains may close at the head of the coffin if requested by the relatives.

No, all components of the coffin remain intact as per Home Office regulations.

Yes, each cremation is conducted individually. The identity of the coffin plate is verified by the Crematorium Attendant before it is placed in the Cremation Chamber, which holds one coffin or casket at a time.

Yes, after cremation, the remains are cooled and placed in an urn, which is clearly identified.

• Garden of Remembrance: You may place them here, though you may not know the exact location and cannot place a headstone.
• Grave Purchase: Buy a grave for interring the remains, allowing a headstone and future family burials.
• Keep at Home: Store them in a special urn or memorial.
• Scattering: Scatter the remains in a special place.
• Existing Family Grave: Bury them in a pre-existing family grave.

We can create a memorial book with a list of mourners who attended the funeral.

You can arrange your own catering, or we can book a venue for you. We also offer catering and staff services at your home or in our lounge.

If the grave is “earth,” it typically takes six months or more for the ground to settle sufficiently to support a headstone. For “bricked” graves, this time is much shorter.
