Our Prices

We believe that the cost of a funeral should be completely transparent, clearly laid out and easy to understand.

The 2020 Competition and Markets Authority investigation into the funeral profession identified a lack of clarity on pricing as a key area of concern.

We will provide a clear, full written estimate of the funeral costs and confirm your consent for us to continue once we have made the initial funeral arrangements. Usually we can give a verbal estimate to you during the initial consultation.

Listed below are our current charges.

Direct Cremation

For those who are aware that their loved ones would have wanted little fuss, when a service of any kind is not desired, or when cost is a consideration, our Direct Cremation enables a simple, dignified cremation to take place with minimal fees. There is no option for a service in the chapel.

Our charges include:

  • Personal consultations with you at your home or our funeral home to discuss the funeral arrangements.
  • The collection of the deceased from their place of death, within a fifty mile radius, transfer to our funeral home, full care and preparation.
  • Advice and assistance to enable you to complete the registration process prior to the funeral.
  • Processing and delivering all necessary paperwork.
  • The cost of any associated doctor's fees.
  • A coffin suitable for cremation and transfer to the crematorium in a suitable funeral vehicle.
  • Cremation Fee
  • An online obituary notice, and listing and administering any in memoriam donations.
  • Collection of the cremated remains from the crematorium, in a scattering container.

We strongly believe that every family should have the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones before the funeral takes place if they wish. Our charges include the availability of our viewing room at any time if required. We are available 24 hours a day.

Simple Cremation

Our simple cremation and burial services are suitable for those who wish to keep costs down, but still have the provision for a full service, with either a minister or celebrant present to officiate.

Our charges include:

  • Personal consultations with you at your home or our funeral home to discuss the funeral arrangements.
  • The collection of the deceased from their place of death, within a fifty mile radius, transfer to our funeral home, full care and preparation.
  • Advice and assistance to enable you to complete the registration process prior to the funeral.
  • Processing and delivering all necessary paperwork.
  • A full length service at Colwyn Bay Crematorium at 9:30am.
  • The fee for a minister to officiate Celebrants incur a slightly higher fee.
  • The provision of a hearse and chauffeur.
  • An online obituary notice, and listing and administering any in memoriam donations.

We strongly believe that every family should have the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones before the funeral takes place if they wish. Our charges include the availability of our viewing room at any time if required. We are available 24 hours a day.

Our Fees from(no deposit required, final account presented 7 days after the funeral takes place)£2,778.00 (plus your choice of coffin)

Simple Burial

Our charges include:

  • Personal consultations with you at your home or our funeral home to discuss the funeral arrangements.
  • The collection of the deceased from their place of death, within a fifty mile radius, transfer to our funeral home, full care and preparation.
  • Advice and assistance to enable you to complete the registration process prior to the funeral.
  • Processing and delivering all necessary paperwork.
  • A service in our funeral home when appropriate, prior to the burial taking place. Alternatively, a graveside service can be arranged.
  • The fee for a minister or celebrant to be present to officiate.
  • The provision of a hearse and chauffeur.
  • An online obituary notice, and listing and administering any in memoriam donations.
  • Burial Fee (CCBC burial fees start from £897.00, which is included. Final costs may be higher.)

The burial fee will be dependent on whether a new grave is being purchased or whether a grave is already owned; and how many burials have already taken place or will take place in that grave in the future. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and obtain an accurate costing.

Traditional Funeral

A Traditional Funeral gives you full scope for personalisation. With our help and advice you can decide on the particular aspects of the service that you would like, creating a unique ceremony to your exact requirements. Our professional charges include our availability to you 24 hours a day for consultation and advice, making all necessary arrangements on your behalf following discussions at the location of your choice, and liaising with all necessary third parties. We will co-ordinate, complete and deliver all paperwork. Our fees also include preparation for viewing and full use of our viewing room at any time. We will direct and co-ordinate the funeral and administer charitable donations on your behalf. Our service to you does not end once the funeral is over. We are available to you to give guidance and advice on any matters arising, at any time, subsequent to the funeral.

Working Without A Funeral Director

At times, a family may wish to take care of all aspects of the funeral arrangements themselves. We are available to offer guidance in these circumstances, and to ensure your paperwork is correct. We will also make our facilities available for the transfer and care of the deceased until the time of the funeral if necessary.
